Phil has chops, dude is classically trained or something like that. Then he got psychedelic. The Dead is for everyone, but I completely understand not being into the Dead. If you need your music spoonfed to you in 3:30 songs with thrashing metal and trashy lyrics, then you won't like the Dead.

I like lots of Dead-adjacent music and sometimes I like it ok.

Finished listening to Dead and Gone podcast recently. It's a murder investigation and half of every episode is a dead history/background that's been pretty interesting. I feel like I should like the music more than I do.
