see the linked prediction thread. I get that it's an Alabama site and they have a lot to be cocky about as a fanbase, but some of these predictions are just insanely delusional.
They think they're going to shut down Watson, some even predict shutting us out completely, or maybe we'll get a "cheap score" late.
They also devalue our quality by saying we "barely beat Louisville". Uh, hello, that was the 3rd game of the season, bro. Not every team plays the same every week. Good teams get better as the season progresses.

My thoughts exactly. At least I could somewhat understand thinking Mayfield was as good
as Watson. Saying Coker is better than Watson is the most delusional thing I've ever seen.
Having lived in B'ham for 8 years now, I can say that Bama fans are very delusional even though they have a great team. Nothing could possibly be better than them, they can't fathom not being the best. It was fun hearing the excuses when they lost last year though.

rather than looking at a teams body of work. I've dealt with numerous people saying we were no good because of 2 or 3 "close" games and failing to mention anything else.
I was curious so looked back at several national champions. Every single one had a few head scratcher games, either close wins vs. questionable opponents or in most cases, A LOSS. It is impossible to bring your A game EVERY week and not have weeks where the ball bounces your way. And that is what makes our 14-0 so impressive, not to mention all the top 10 games that are hyped up and then discounted somehow AFTER we win.
People were hyping up UNC as one of the hottest teams in the country, and they were. Then people were hyping up OU as "this years OSU who had one L and was playing their best ball late". It is a FACT that how the media in large and fans alike were analyzing those teams before we beat them. They don't get to change history, sorry.
