Qualk and Kelly get on a tangent and go on about it for 45min, the national shows have a funny moment or get on a tangent, talk about it for 3 minutes then get back on topic. I've quit listening to WCCP, everyone on there thinks they are witty and a comedian but it's just childish and boring and they only spend 1/3 or less of the show discussing anything relevant. I started listening to the CBS guys. It may not be Clemson but WCCP really isn't either.

it. It's honestly painful to listen to.
Walt will also do tangent sometimes but his actually can be funny, I haven't cracked a smile with this Qualk/Kelly tangent.
They don't understand that since we don't know them personally, these personal stories aren't nearly as entertaining to the listener as they may be to the people in the studio.

I am driving to work the other day and Mickey spends 10 minutes talking about how he cooks beans then cuts to a commercial. After the break he tells you what is coming up but never gets to most of the issues because he is too busy talking about anything but Clemson football. Between those type of conversations and the constant commercials I am done with the morning drive. I just hope ESPN upstate can become the Flagship station for Clemson sports. I am not sure there is hope for WCCP.

A good show can demand more for commercial time and do less commercials. Improve the product (hosts) and you improve the ratings and make more money
