I love College Football

I could watch every game, but, I have fatherly and husbandly duties, which will always come first, that prevent me from being a Saturday couch potato. However, this year I learned that it is not actually college football that I love...it is really only Clemson football.

This year, we have enjoyed being in the top 10 all year / 14 weeks (8 weeks in the top 5). The last time we enjoyed success like that I was more worried about getting player autographs than the pre-BCS bowl destinations.

In years past, we mostly had 15-25 teams ranked ahead of us, thus 15 -25 games with direct impact on our ranking. Up until the FSU loss, only 2 games had that same impact and usually their opponents were not competitive enough to watch. After the FSU loss, I once again became intently interested in the teams ranked above us. I once again was working out scenarios to get us back into the top 3 and even the BCS championship game, which is just as exciting.

So that being said, here’s to hoping for:

NOV 30th
#1 Bama
#2 FSU
#3 OSU
#4 AUB lose to Bama
#5 Mizz to lose to TAMU
#6 Clem dominate the coots

DEC 7
#1 Bama lose to the coots (oh dear)
#2 FSU
#3 OSU lose to Mich St
#4 Clem

Sure it is a long shot, but it is fun to dream about it which the possibility is still there.
