It is smart. But good lord when the story came out that TB had called Saban after the loss many on here acted like this was the most unheard-of, dumbest thing they'd ever heard of a coach doing. Definitely remember a lot of people asking "Do you think Saban would ever call an opposing coach after losing to them to find out what they did wrong?" Well this proves that obviously even the almighty Saban thinks this is a good idea...

attacked were the idgits. it's a small fraternity of college coaches[certainly at this level] and they help each other. how many trips to nevada or okstu or tejas does our staff have to make for people to realize it's not always predatory with these guys?

the reigning national champs sent coaches to clemson for help & an exchange of ideas.

if there are flaws in your system, what better person or persons to ask than the one(s) that exposed them?
