I'm assuming it's a camp of some kind. Why they call it "The Opening" is a little weird. Sounds very elitist to me, but I don't care what they call it if it gets recruits in orange. They can call it the "Pee wee sissy pink fairy dumpling combine and training camp" if they so choose.

I just took a stab at it. I have no clue either, honestly. It could be a golf outing or group dinner for all I know, I'm just assuming based on guys needing invites that it's a recruiting camp of some kind.

I thought it was a camp on oregons campus. Last year Chad kelly travis blanks and germone hopper went. Actually thinking about it maybe its not in oregon.

Its the all star's from all the Nike elite camps held around country. At each site they select few stand out performers to attend the ultimate camp at Oregon called "The Opening". So each participant was selected as a top performer at their respect elite nike camps from around country.
