Based on my own personal research, they appear on track to be are one of the best middling teams next year.

Possibly eclipsing Colgate.

They have to be pretty tough.Carolina played them a couple years ago in order to get bowl eligible.The hurricane washed out their LSU game and Akron was their chosen team.So if Carolina played them they will look at them as a tough team

If not for the rain, I would have attended that game courtesy of the Gamecocks' botched efforts to help the economically challenged members of their community.

I figured the Zips needed encouragement.

When it poured, I figured they wouldn't hear me anyway. So I stayed home.

Somehow they still claimed 53000 seats were taken. Lol
