friend was dancing in it. Trust me, you do NOT want your son dancing ballet.
Let's just say my son doesn't have to worry about any of the male dancers trying to steal his girl friend away...

I think the RB for BC did as well.

Or martial arts of some sort... he has a great career and was always balanced, hard to bring down.
Maybe we should be getting some training for all players using less traditional methods. Sure it helps to be fast and strong, but balance helps make any speed and strength you have more effective!

I distinctly remember that Lynn Swann

took ballet as a way to improve his balance and flexibility. Seriously. I learned that on Mister Rogers, of all places. I believe other NFL players also tried it at some point, but I can't find a video clip to substantiate that.
There are several football programs that use yoga in a similar manner these days.

And it is hard to argue the way he ran over people and stepped on them.

Here is a piece of an interview. He said it himself.

Clearly, sports, football, is not the only thing you're interested in. Herschel Walker: No. I'd love to be in the FBI. The FBI has always been a dream. Even though I don't think I'll get a chance to do it. I've spent two weeks in Quantico, Virginia at the FBI training center, and while I'm in Dallas, Texas now, I may go out with the FBI there and do a few things. I really enjoy that. You know, that's a lot of fun, and I love that. I'm on the U.S. Bobsledding team, I'm very big on martial arts. I say I want to get into a movie with Chuck Norris, and do martial arts movies. And I've danced with the ballet. So I do a lot of things, because I think that's what you've got to do.

I know this is showing my age, but I can remember when some Yankee greats who played infield took dance lessons. That would have been in the 50's I suspect. Sounds like a good plan to me.
