Clemson has gotten who it can get. Some players have chosen to sign elsewhere.
That is all on BB I guess. He must like only signing below average players.
I am curious to hear how a dumper sells Clemson as a stellar recruiter.

Find a coach who knows something about actually coaching - in other words, developing the players so that they are actually BETTER players when they leave than when they came. At this point I can think of about ONE player who has noticeably improved, and I don't think Brownell had anything to do with that.
Are you serious?? How much more do you have to see??? Would it REALLY be better for us all to RAH RAH while the program sinks lower and lower?? Enough is enough. It was enough last year.

I bet these coaches do not recruit those stellar offense guys like old Purnell did. Right?

Gabe Devoe was offered by Marshall, UNCW, and Western Carolina. NOBODY thought he was going to come in and have an immediate impact.
I like Grantham but he is more of a combo forward.
You can keep piping off all you want but facts are facts, we don't have a single guy on this team with a consistent outside shot.

I will keep piping off when I keep reading recruit better players.
Captain Obvious says the same thing.
When has Clemson ever had a true consistent shooter?
These coaches are like all coaches.. They are trying to get best players to sign and they have to coach those who do choose Clemson.
I am tired of the opposite piping off. If someone can dump, then I want to hear the next thing. Complain? Then give a solution.

McIntyre, Solomon, Hammonds, Stitt, Scott, KC Rivers, Oglesby... We have always had at least one good shooter until Brad got here.
Isn't he from Indiana? Go find a #### guard that can shoot from the outside.

You have to get a salesman like Dabo to recruit kids. Obviously BB isn't personable enough to bring in the big boys. Or, maybe he just doesn't believe in what he's selling. Bama hired and NBA coach and looks good after one year. LSU somehow has the #1 recruit in the country playing for them. It can be done. I think most of us are reasonable and know that we will never be a "basketball powerhouse" It just sucks getting housed by the SEC teams. We should be able to out recruit them and out coach them. This is six bad years in a row. Something has to be done.

Agree... But what is the sell?
That is why facilities are being improved BC there is no real history to sell. Those schools you mentioned have lots of extra money from football and THE SEC to push into other sports.

It's not the fans that need to generate ideas. Coaches and the AD couldn't care less about our ideas so holding our feet to the fire to try and make your point is ludicrous.
Our football team wasn't relevant in the national spotlight for a long time until Dabo was hired and started selling the program the right way. We need a basketball version of Dabo. There are no excuses as to why we can't be a competitive basketball team and while it may take some time, Brownell isn't the answer.

Considering SC has produced 9 national level recruits the last couple of cycles and we didn't bother recruiting 7 of them, I would start in state since it has gotten a lot better.

Its like he's recruiting kids by watching their high school football highlights. Get guys that can score, not just bc they are athletic. These players are available and alot are playing for small schools that we didnt recruit. Go to europe if you have to. There are local church league teams that shoot better.

Players always sign where they feel good. We have better recruits with Dabo than we had with Tommy West. We had better recruits with OP and Barnes than we have had with CBB. Come on? Really? There are some of our fans just are not that smart. As a whole we are are all smarter than the Coots, but we have some idiots too apparently. CBB is not working and it is CBB and nothing more.

That consistently make the tourney and beat power conf teams when they get there. Are you telling me we couldn't have out recruited northern Iowa before they became good? I'm not even asking to be as good as a mid major, I just want a team that isn't an embarrassment to the sport of basketball.
Quit recruiting athleticism and get some kids here that can shoot first. It's a formula that works well for a lot of non-traditional powers.
