Wow, pretty strong condemnation of his brother

Jan 7, 2013, 12:22 PM

Speaks volumes

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Well, he said disappointment , did not condemn him ...

Jan 7, 2013, 12:52 PM

i am sure he was looking forward to playing w his little brother , his brother still has a right to make his own choice, ...we are all disappointed , no one should "condemn "the kid ..

Martin I wish you the best next season and your brother will quickly realize he is making the wrong decision.

Ryan, the wheels arent falling off in Tennessee

Jan 7, 2013, 12:35 PM

They Fell off 3 years ago and its been a useless Wagon on the tracks getting crushed by every Train or 2 man cart that rolls by. Enjoy what is going to be the failed attempt to rebuild a program. YOu could have been a part of something special at Clemson that is going to partake 2013.

If Martin had been given the opportunity to do this he would

have also. He just didn't have the offer. The apples don't fall far from the tree. We see what his dad is really about.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That just ridiculous to say something like that.

Jan 7, 2013, 1:54 PM [ in reply to If Martin had been given the opportunity to do this he would ]

Let the kid go where he wants to go. No reason to say anything negative about his dad.

Sorry for you, Martin. I know you were looking forward to

Jan 7, 2013, 12:32 PM

There is no real commitment until they sign the LOI. People are allowed to change their minds.

Martin, we all have life decisions to make and I certainly don't condemn your brother for his decision to go to Tennessee. He has a strong connection there through your Dad. It is a tough decision for any 18+ year old kid regardless. As a Tiger Fan, I wish he would have stayed with Clemson, but he didn't, so I wish your brother nothing but success in his college choice. MARTIN, YOU ARE A TIGER, SO LET'S GO FORWARD NEXT YEAR AND CONTINUE OUR WINNING WAYS. GLAD YOU ARE TIGER!

I can understand maybe his brother was told of a red-shirt year

We already have crazy good WR talent coming back, with...

Jan 7, 2013, 6:49 PM

Mike Williams on his way in. I'm not the least bit worried.

.. and if DeAndre decided to come back, that would be something to rub in the faces of everyone. That said, DeAndre is probably gone anyway (I hope I'm wrong about that though). Most programs would still trade their WR corps with the talent at the top ours: Sammy, Martavis, Charone and a true gamer in Humphries.

Last time I checked National Signing Day isn't until Feb, and several top prospects have Clemson in their top 2. You can bet a few of those WILL be Tigers come National Signing Day too.

Everyone, wish him well and...

send him on his way.
