Don't they call it a mesh play? Either way Clemson has too much speed and talent for that to work against them. Kinda like how the Tigers used to destroy PJs option offense.
Seems to me that delay makes the oline hold blocks longer which i would think causes more holding calls on wake, but apparently that is not the case.

At first I though they were just having difficulty with the handoff, then realized they were doing that ON PURPOSE....then the announcers described "the mesh play".

Looks very Pop Warner-ish...can imagine a bunch of 10 yr olds thoroughly confusing another bunch of 10 yr olds with this play.

Our guys? Not so much.
