It's been awesome & I think we defended it well. When trying to make the difficult decision on who to pull for tonight I decided I'd rather give it back to Alabama than to crown the trashy redneck bulldogs. There are far more bulldog fans around here to deal with than bama fans and they brag enough without a legitimate reason. Plus we go head to head for recruits with them more than Alabama. I still can't bring myself to say roll tide though

pretty lame comment, we are and still will be nat champs, just because someone new has a trophy does not deminish or take away our championship status

Let me rephrase: 5 more hours as reigning national champs. And you made a contradictive statement there. You first referred to them as ex-presidents signifying them as separate from the actual president. If they were ex-presidents, they would no longer be able to be called president. The proper term is former presidents. We will forever be 2016 national champions but after 12:30-1 am, we'll no longer be the current national champions which is what I referred to in my initial post.
