were there, the Tigers just couldn’t execute and capitalize. We got beat by a great LSU team. It just happens sometimes.

Admittedly, I enjoyed watching a TD get taken off the board and Skalski getting ejected for targeting. It was a circle of life moment for this buckeye fan.
However, I wanted to see Lawrence perform better. He just didn't seem like the QB he was against Ohio State. I was also disappointed to see ETN underutilized. Offensive ineptitude was Clemson's lack of execution and poor play calling moreso than it was LSU's defense beating them.

I don't think it is what he is saying, but when and where he is saying it. In 2 weeks I will be wondering if we pick up another recruit or 2, and considering our potential for next year. My thoughts will be on Clemson and not on could something bad happen for the team that beat us.

The refs were awful no doubt but they were awful both ways. I thought most of thee PI calls were iffy at best and many were garbage. They also missed at least 2 obvious PI calls against Clemson. I didn’t like the targeting (and neither side LSU fan who happened to be sitting next to me). The refs should be embarrassed by the performance but they were consistently bad both ways and certainly didn’t cost us the game.

The targeting was called correctly. Read the rule. It’s a black and white issue, no gray area. You CANNOT lead with your head, hitting crown first regardless of what part of the offensive player you hit. That part of the rule is to protect the defender.
The pass interference on Tee is a BS call. If you are going to let them jostle, let them do it- don’t selectively enforce the rule. If you are going to call that, you have to call the LSU player on the first long TD pass. He bumped the defender, initiated contact to gain an advantage. Call it both ways, don’t “selectively” enforce. There was a lot of bumping going on the entire game both ways.
