Really bummed about this as well as the Ole Miss series. Was looking forward to going to Oxford and Stillwater. Maybe one of them will be a conference opponent soon. Had to say it...just cannot let it go.

I think this timing of the announcement is due to Pitt and use officially starting next season which means 9 game schedule starts next season and need to give these teams time to find new opponents out of courtesy.
Just another episode of "Swofford screws Clemson"

Agree, if we want to be a big time football team, then give up one of the "warm-up" games and play some teams that will put us more on the national scene.

You can't give up the warm up games. Then you lose a home game and give up a butt load of money

All those hooligan, football first schools from the Big 12. They are half way across the country for goodness sake. Dont know about you but I feel we have MUTCH more in common with schools near the Canadian border

Isn't this wonderful? Tigers lose Ole Miss and Ok St because of expansion of ACC with Pitt and Syracuse. Makes perfect sense to me...Sheer stupidity!...What's new?...

The difference though is, rightly or wrongly, the SEC is

perceived as only a small step below the NFL. So, Alabama's "strength of schdule" is perceived as being one of the toughest, in most years, because of their conference.

This is ridiculous! More money, more exposure and better SOS by playing Ok State. Why would we drop a school like this?

SEC plays an 8 game schedule while ACC dumba$$ wants 9 games, so therefore we lose our Ole Miss & OK State games. Clemson will lose a boat load of money by keeping the GA game...can't afford to do that every year.
