What's really great...

I'm a sales guy. And times in my past, I've had to sell lemons. What Scott talks about at the end there... how strong it is to get them on campus to see the actual product... that there is Nirvana for a sales guy.

We are selling the real deal. You get these guys on campus and they see it. Something clicks, and Clemson sells itself. And what's great about it all is that 20 years from now, those kids will remember that feeling... when it clicked... and recognize what a good decision they made.

I remember when it "clicked"...

It was 15 years ago, but I still remember thinking "I can't believe I'm going to get to come here." Clemson rocks.

Great job Jeff. Your hard work and determination has helped Clemson get one of the best classes in recent history. Your coaching and recruiting career is on track for greater success. Thank you!

DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE IDIOTS THAT POSTED NEGATIVE COMMENTS ON THE ARTICLE REGARDING YOUR DADS RETIREMENT FROM THE SIDELINES.

The top 10 excuses for their negativity and bitterness include:

10. They think that taking a coaching position at a school makes you a life long blood brother to the school...its just a job and a stepping stone.
9. They did not graduate from high school, but they have their GED framed and hanging in the den.
8. They did graduate from high school but did not even get accepted into USC.
7. They could not get into Clemson, but they lived on campus while going to Tri-County.
6. They failed out of Clemson, but still tell people that they went to Clemson.
5. They have a severe case of "Clemson is an elite football program syndrome" and we should be winning 10 games a year.
4. They have an inferiority complex because they know they will never be successful.
3. They can not get a job so they are mad at people that have a job.
2. They are jealous of the oppurtunity that your Dad offered to you because he was in the college coaching profession.

And the number one reason they are being such an idiot...

1. They have had similar opportunities presented to them but were not smart enough to notice them.
