thoughts. Her daughter was hurt in a skiing accident yesterday at Lake Tahoe.

Don't know all details. Banged up pretty good from what I hear, broken pelvis etc. So they have to fly out and get her home when she's able to travel.

Next time I speak with her I will have to tell her we need to ban all trees. ;) Hey in this situation I still have to take a shot at my liberal friend. I know she would do the same to me.

If you read this boston, hang in there and get her home safe!

"Ban all trees"

I'll bet Sonny Bono would support this measure.

Seriously, I read her post on FB earlier didn't associate the poster as bostontiger.

My daughter is now 25, and still, everytime she goes away on a trip I get nervous. She's currently in SanFran on business. Always a Daddy to my little girl. Always watching in the background what's going on with her.

Prayers sent

It will be at least a week to a week and a half before she is able to fly. She has a stable pelvic fracture on her right side. Thankfully no surgery needed. She will have to use a walker for at least 6 weeks, no driving, pretty much just bed rest. She is very sore. She was on a beginner trail with a trainer. She got to going too fast and tried to make herself fall. She couldn't fall and realized she was heading for the trees. She turned enough before the tree that her back caught the brunt of the impact. Her back is all bruised and swollen but thankfully nothing broken there. She will be very sore and it is recommended that she does not take the 6 hour flight from LAX until some of the swelling etc goes down.

I want to get on a plane, well she told me not too. My son is going to fly out when she is ready to come home and escort her back. Thank you all for the prayers. If you have children, hug them, like I wish I could hug my daughter right now.
