Observations: Nike's The Opening Charlotte Regional

Nike’s “The Opening” Charlotte Regional took place under sunny and warm skies at Mallard Creek High School Saturday, and there were plenty of top-flight performers on hand. What did we see out of Clemson commits Sean Pollard, Cornell Powell and J.C. Chalk? What is the latest with Diondre Overton? What other notable visitors were on hand?

headed for Tenn (he loves it there and loves the amount of attn he gets there) unless he just wants to stay close to home and go to UGA. I believe UGA is pushing as a DB though if I remember correctly. I am good friends with one of the coach's at Elberton and this is info from last week.

Did he not go to the Charlotte Regional?

I know the coaches wanted to give him another look for Elite 11 and asked him to come.

He can still get invited after the camps. They hand out gus that excel in they 1 day camp. Then invite more later.

Good coverage oF the Regional at Charlotte. If I was a to take a.wild guess, Mecole is a.lock for Tenn. Gets all the attention and love that he wants. Unfortunately, I think his top 3 is Tenn, Georgia then Clemson. Hope I'm wrong.
