Texas is one long state

Been driving through Texas for 8 hrs. Still have 2 to go. Staying in Tuscon should be there st 8:00 am. Still you in Glendale Monday. I was at the 81 natty. We are about to bring home another one. The 30 hour trip is worth it. Go Tigers.

yep, when you get to Texas, you're like this isn't so bad, and the you have nothing between Dallas/Ft Worth and El Paso except a long ### desert. Be careful going thru mingus and mosquite, it's a speed trap and they make you go to a magistrate and pay the fine, you can't mail it in

First time I drove to Texas I learned that. Just as I crossed into Texas, the sign said El Paso 890 miles.

southeast Texas, and those people have a completely different idea about sizes than most of us.
We think of half-acre yards as being big; to them that's where they park their trucks before mounting horseback to ride their pastures. When they refer to this or that "little" tract, they're talking about several thousand acres. We get in our cars to drive ten minutes to a store; they're driving across their own land. We think an 800-mile trip is a long journey; they drive that far across the state just to go hunting. We think speed limits on open highways are the rule; they think they're minimums....and so on it goes. lol
