I don't have the stats, but hasn't CLEMSON beaten the last 7 National Champions (not counting CLEMSON)? I think I remember CLEMSON doing that.
Auburn - 1 (won NC in 2010)
Bama - 4 (won NC in 2011 & 2012 & 2015 & 2017)
FSU - 1 (won NC in 2013)
OSU - 1 (won NC in 2014)
Not sure who else, but maybe just 7 National Champions.
