Yep, most of his carries barely got back to the L.O.S. He was usually on his back where the QB handed it off to him. One more thing, I don't have a clue of what kind of climate Oklahoma has. But there isn't many places in the US that has as thick of humidity as the south does. You are soaking wet just standing still here with our deadly humidity. You can get dehydrated down here is less than 15 minutes with just a light jog. So I know playing FB in that type of humidity will cramp and athlete up in just a few minutes. I hope we have been practicing with our high tempo fast mode and wear them down before the half is up.

Only had 38 yards going into 4th quarter last year. HE can't do anything if the front is getting whipped!

He sees LB over pursuit and thinks counters, options, QB scrambles, and play action passes over the LBs will work. He might be right. It's a tough balance being aggressive and keeping assignments.

I agree. If I'm worried about anything on defense it is the ability of our linebackers to match up with their receivers on short routes over the middle and into the flats. We have gotten beaten there a lot recently.
