I really can't believe this whole situation has been handled so poorly. Any prospective coach coming in should take note of the apparent disfunction going on in that athletic department and university leadership. And for the record, I think Dabo will stay right where his for a long, long time...and any short-term disappointments will be forgotten blips in the annals of Clemson football history.

Texas fans expect national championships in every sport every year and get pretty nasty when it does not happen. They boo their football team even when they are winning the game if they go three and out. So if Dabo wants that kind of culture, he should go for the money and fame. Most commentators don't highlight the downside, but I worked with many UT grads and they get down on the coach quick.

because I absolutely dismissed any notion(at his present experience at HC) of consideration at one of the top 3 football schools but danm keeps cropping up in the press. And I am not so sure he could turn down Tx...or should :O
