Chase saved our perfect season to date and maybe our selection to the CFP. With the one loss (Cuse) and the ACC perceived as having a really down year, we may not have been selected even though we were ACC champs. Chase simply doesn't get enough playing time and needs to consider transferring for his financial future. With still 3 years to showcase his talents, he may be a high draft choice for the league. I know Chase loves Clemson but with the prospect of highly rated QB's now being recruited to come in behind TL, he needs to really think about his future long term. The fan base loves the guy and he's got too much talent to just send signals in from the sidelines. I know----coot, coot, coot.

Chase only needs to stay at the college he chose as where he wanted to be first. He will get plenty of time to perfect his craft and will be the starter after TL for one year. By that year he will be so well prepared and Clemson QBs will be a hot commodity come draft time. He has all their (NFL scouts) preferred measures and is not a statue. He will be just fine financially after school.

Chase could possibly transfer as a graduate for his final year if he doesn’t win the job after TL goes pro.

Until then, I think Chase is competitive enough to hang on and support the team as the QB2 ... confident he will get his shot.

All I know is TL has 2 years and a game left to play at Clemson, then + 1 year of CB is going to leave a lot of mutts butthurt, which will also cast a huge shadow of doubt over Athens.

Time is telling as it always has been and the pressure just went up a notch down there. Whether they admit it or not.
