It just means he was not selected during the NFL draft and is not available to sign with any team. Contracts are generally not as lucrative as those drafted, but he's got a team and that's a start.

Meant to say: It just means he was not selected during the NFL draft and is NOW available to sign with any team. Contracts are generally not as lucrative as those drafted, but he's got a team and that's a start.

Good luck to Albert. I believe he will do well in the NFL.

A lot of teams missed the boat on this guy, including

Houston. He would've started for any other team in college football and how many NFL idiots watched the college playoffs? He started both games and our D didn't miss a beat, not to mention playing in the games back when Dexter was injured.

He looked miserable when they showed him at home during the draft on Saturday (I think it was), and I don't blame him. No way he wasn't a top 25 DT. The Steelers took Buggs from Alabama over Albert and I wasn't shocked. That's Tomlin for you. He also wanted Artie Burns (Artie Burnt) over Mackenzie Alexander. Albert will be among friends and he knows how to work. I'm glad for him but there are a lot of stupid NFL GMs and HCs out there.

I know it looks like an athlete isn't being a team player when they decide to leave a team for an starting position on another team... but this is the reason they do it. They play college football with dreams of playing at the next level. I just hate when fans crap on players for leaving to chase their dreams...

Bring the pain huggy bear, you could have started for most teams in the Nation ( of course you wouldn’t have 4 conference championship and 2 national championship) but you stayed loyal to us. Much love!
GO TIGERS!!!

Huggy is a powerful player from top to bottom. He finished second in the bench press by 1 rep to overall winner Big Dex, and has the wheels underneath to push anybody around.
