Apparently i’m a “Brownell apologist” if i don’t

blame CBB for the loss even though it was the best free throw shooter in the Conference who missed 4 straight free throws And I don’t want to fire the coach who finally gave us tournament wins. I know this is an unpopular opinion but honestly even if Clemson does go out and try to find a better coach. Chances are you most likely won’t. Even if Clemson goes out and gets lucky with a great coach chances are he’ll leave for a basketball program with a better tradition. I don’t know where the expection of making the tournament every year came from but it’s just not realistic we are a football school who has to recruit against Duke North Carolina, Usuck, and more recently the number one ranked Volunteers.

You just argued against yourself with that last sentence

Tennessee has a much better basketball tradition

than Clemson, plus even in we got a new Rick barnes he’d leave anyway

That’s just one example.

We can't blame BB for missed free throws, but it's

certainly fair to form an opinion based on his almost 9-year record at Clemson. That record has been good, but I think it's reasonable to think Clemson could do better. All of this talk about how we can't be good in basketball because we are a football school is nonsense - it doesn't make a lick of sense, and is just an excuse. I don't thinkk anybody expects us to make the tourney every year, or be as good as UNC or Dook year-in-year-out, but there's a lot of room between that and where we have been under Brownell, and where we are now. No reason at all we shoud not expect to be better. If Brownell can get us there, I'll be thrilled. If not, we absolutely must move in a different direction.

He needs to go. Maybe Amanda can take over. To keep on with this Brownell mystique is ridiculous. He has far underachieved at Clemson. Period----end of story.

I can blame him. Those end game rotations

were really odd. As was the decision to foul up 3 with 9.7 left. Sure there were missed free throws but I don’t think our team was in the best position to win.
