Ten straight under 300 yards.

I read a lot last week about us tying a record by holding nine straight teams under 300 yards to open a season. NC State only had 290 but I haven't heard anything about breaking the record. Did I just miss it or is there some other reason that I haven't heard anything.

Joined 2011 Tide team as only teams since 2000 to hold first 10 opponents to under 300 yards. It's in the TNet game notes article.

This is a truly great accomplishment, especially when you consider how they empty the bench.

Wake Forest presents a significant challenge in keeping this going. They will have to play the starters a whole lot longer in the 2nd half to make it 11/11.
