I'm from Indiana but not from the part that considers itself a Chicago suburb.
I have a favorable disposition towards any team that competes against Alabama. Except maybe UGA.

Have to admit - SCar tops my list .... Used to sort of pull for them in some games ... but during their 5-peat their fans were so mouthy - don’t think I will ever pull for them again !!

There is only one team I always pull against. The coots. If you have more than one, what do you do when they play each other? Pulling against both is nonsensical. One of them has to win in most sports. Very few sports allow ties anymore. I pull against Ugh-a except for when they play the coots. Thus I cannot say I always pull against them.

I lived in Alabama for a few years, and developed a healthy dislike for both their big schools.
I don't pay any attention to that school in Columbia till late November, then I forget about them till the next November.
