Taking the Clown down

Morris needs to look at all the film that is out there for neutralizing the Clown. We can't let him be a force in this game.
I believe it is the only game Clown is actually gonna give his best effort. He's been mailing it in most of the year to this point.
He needs a whole game of getting punched in the mouth by our O line for his comments about Tajh this summer. Pain should be his reward for running his mouth

I hope Morris looks at more than Clowney's film. There's a whole lot more than him to worry about. Neutralizing Clowney should be easy:
On the first offensive play, call a WR screen left so there's just Boyd one-on-one with Clowney. As Clowney rushes Boyd, have Boyd throw a bullet into Clowney's face mask - ooooops sorry, man - must be a little off tonight. From there on out, every time Boyd looks left, Clowney will be thinking about it.

Sounds like a good idea but I'd prefer that Boyd nails the Clown in the crotch !!

Boyd rolls out right to start the game. Brandon Thomas lets Clowney (I say lets b/c Clowney ain't getting by Thomas) run free towards Boyd. WHAM, 100 MPH fastball right into the sack.
Then, every time Clown thinks sack, it hurts and he hesitates.

Brandon Thomas needs to be a man in this game.

Out of our TE's only Daryl Smith can block, but it would be nice to only have Brandon take care of Clowney based on scheme and playcalling.

This is how I would draw it up

On the Tigers 1st offensive possession, have Boyd take the snap under center then go to a knee. Have everybody else dogpile Clowney just to get in his head. Yea, it's gonna cost us 15 yards, but would be a great sending off present for the NFL.

I haven't watched Clowney a lot this year, but it appears to me he is anticipating the snap on every down to get a jump on the line. I'd play around with the way we do the snap-count and see if we can draw a few offsides penalties by him. He may start backing off a bit!

Sure, Morris does - and will - do his job from a schematic standpoint. But this is not abour Morris. This is about athletes like Br Thomas being sick and tired of thinking about the embarrassment of last year, and "taking this personally", and taking this Jad guy out. Players at this point have to get real and have a chip on their shoulder, and execute with all their heart and ability. And we will be fine on Sat.

O-Line needs to knock the crap out of him and put him on his #### all night long for his comments and then stand over him taunting like that thug Swearinger did to Ellington last yr. Just beat the holy crap out of the Coots and I'll be happy
