he plays players who have earned the right to play. He should NOT then turn around and force them into not running the regular offense. My position is that they should pretend the game is 0-0 in these situations, and run the offense as intended. Otherwise, they are not gaining game experience that really helps them in any way in the future. This is one of the few thing I agree with The Old Ball Sac on. If you don't want us to score, stop us!

I personally would be more embarrassed by a team taking 3 knees at my one yard line than by them scoring.

bench you can do whatever you want with your backups. Why shouldn't Dabo give Chase Brice and the other reserves a shot at running a 2-minute drill? That kind of experience could pay off down the road. This is major college football, not Pop Warner.
