WVa over a month ago and that WVa declined interest. Not buying either of those assertions. Dude is clearly concerned that even a partial Notre Dame move to ACC keeps Clemson and FSU in the ACC...

You know after all the ACC butt sniffing WVU has done over the last 20 years the invitation to Pitt had to be like pouring alcohol on on a galled scrotum. WVU should be proud to be accepted into any conference.

You have to remember that he's not just reporting stuff, he's a cheerleader. He, and his sources, have a vested interest in peeling off teams from the ACC into the B12. That doesn't mean that his sources are all wrong. But it just colors things. Kinda reminds me of the guy who writes for Orangebloods; ya know, the guy who is essentially Deloss Dodds mouthpiece.

The idea that we showed interest in WVU a month ago seems absurd after all the "no interest" of the past.

And if for some reason the ACC did show interest, it is almost impossible to believe that WVU would decline. We are an infinitely better home for WVU than the Big 12 and there's no way that the WVU administration would decline the ACC out of spite. If they did, they'd deserve what they got.
