TV Announcers Saturday

We're getting two of television's top sports announcers to do our game on ESPNU tomorrow.

No, not Herbstreit, Nessler, etc. but the well-known Clay Matvick and Anthony Becht (whoever the hell they are).

Of course, they'll talk non-stop the whole time and use every worn-out cliche in the book - will also talk to the viewing audience as if nobody's ever seen a college football game on TV. And, of course, they'll have to teach everyone about how if a play is put under review it takes indisputable evidence to overturn the call on the field (as if we don't know that rule by now).

Needless to say, I'll be turning these two "grade Z" announcers off ASAP.
