Those who had to know were told they would be terminated if any of this got out. I mentioned Sunday I have a friend that his wife works at CU and he was scared to death that I even asked him about the subject.

I agree it is hush hush in the athletic department. I talked to a good friend of mine who's daddy is a big scale farmer and is god friends with several BOT members. He usually has a few tidbits but did not know much.

He did say he heard there has been some backdoor contact with the Big 12 through TDP previous ties - so nothing official. One of the main sticking points to a move, if it were to happen, is Clemson wants the Big 12 to go to 14 schools by adding 4 east coast schools. The Big 12 is wants just 12 for now - agreeing and finding another 2 is a big hurdle.
