Two Tigers named among nation's top RBs

Two Clemson running backs made Sporting News' top-25 running backs list Thursday. Rising sophomore Travis Etienne was ranked No. 14 and junior Tavien Feaster ch Read Update »

Imagine their ranking if they were elite!

Just what I was thinking. Sure would be nice to have an elite group of backs. Maybe one day.

Where is the logic in ranking Etienne behind the other guys from BC and Florida St yet he is the returning leader in the ACC in yards per carry and yards after contact....did I miss something and BC and Fla st aren't in the ACC anymore?

Akers is a freak, I expect him to be a heisman contender if he can get behind a decent OL and have a semi 2 dimensional offense around him. I don't mind that ranking. I still think though if we rank a 1 back system ETN or Feaster would be much much higher.

if they played for ALA they would bees top 5. Ohio ST they would bees 1 and 2.

When we are underrated, I love it. Easier to ambush other teams. The key will rest with the hogs up front. When possibly the best RB in the history of the game (Herschel Walker) played for UGA, he never scored a touchdown against Clemson. Food for thought.

If you did miss anything, I don't see why bc, the biases against anything Clemson is always pretty visible!!!

Not possible. Espn put up a tiger paw on the side of their building to quiet the masses at Tigernet.

How is that possible?***

I disagree with where they have AJ Dillon ranked by a long shot. Dude should have been 3rd, 4th at worst imo. Other than FSU and CU he will grind the clock, move the chains and get BC back to their normal Beef O'Brady spot, all while having not a whiff of a QB on the field. Kid can ball.
