The NFL is full of players just like him. Once they put in the work in college, and make their paycheck, some of them no longer feel the need to try and accomplish anything. One of the primary reasons I dont pay much attention to the nfl

Does this mean his brother Chazz Surratt will do the same?

Chazz has been practicing with the team since June. Still concerning to UNC fans.

Convenient way to skip year and not risk injury. Good for him, eye on the prize

I think it is perfectly fine for him to do that. I also think it is perfectly fine to pass over players in the draft who have shown that they are going to bail when the going gets tough.

Well since he doesn't Have a QB, its probably best for his draft stock not to play.

Here’s What Happened...

- Wake students come back to campus. - In locker room, he hears teammates talking about parties they’ve been to with no precautions. - He knows they won’t be any good. - Opts out.

Could be purely a professional decision. He already has a substantial body of work for the NFL scouts. His production is bound to decrease this season with the loss of his QB.

Has anyone suggested that Weak Forest might should

call Nebraska to see if the Huskers want to stand-in for the Deacs during the coming season?
Wake might fit better in the B1G anyway with its traditional Big 2-Little 12 structure.

Remember he was hurt late last year and missed some key games. Don't blame him.
Sam Hartman the current starting QB has been there before in many key games. Production was verty similar to Newman but not the dual threat that Newman was.
