Odds of becoming a big time hitter when he is already a contact hitter is very minimal. As small as he is as a senior, this is probably his time to make his mark on the league. Wish him well!

This is what makes recruiting for baseball so much more difficult than the other sports. Recruit the heir apparent to a departing star, and he most likely will never set foot on campus as a student-athlete, and now he needs replacing as well.

I agree coaches walk a fine line. Get the best one you can but one that will enroll rather that go pro out of HS. Makes the baseball job much trickier than football or basketball
