Clemson's 1st 8 Opponents: 7 of 8 Will Have .500+ Record

People talk about "what a weak schedule Clemson has."

* When FSU rolls around, two games from now (assuming they beat Wake Forest), every single team that has played Clemson this year will have had a .500+ record at the time they played, except for Georgia Tech. That's 7 out of 8 teams.

* Last year, Clemson beat 4 ranked teams in September alone.

* These schedules are arranged years in advance - it isn't Clemson's fault that Texas A&M, FSU, Syracuse, Miami, etc. have become relatively weaker than they were a few years ago.

* Clemson just arranged a home-and-home against Georgia - does that sound cowardly?

Clemson's schedule isn't as weak as some people say it is.

ESPN is just trying to get attention: They are the Jim Lampley of this decade.

As promised, out of Clemson's first 8 opponents, exactly 1 has had a sub-.500 record when they played Clemson.
