From what I've read, this is an outstanding young man that just had a tough break. Hope he tears it up in BC. Just not on 10/26 in the Valley.

I don't even care if he does it then, as long as the rest of the BC team lays an egg.

Thought Richard was done. Hope he is fully recovered and plays well- except against the Tigers.

It'll be nice for him to be able to make it back to Clemson for homecoming, at least.

Good choice going to BC and wish him well! Sounds like Dabo and our coaches helped him through this process and kept a great relationship.

Well played Yeargin -- Clemson will miss you but BC is a fine school. Good luck and stay healthy!

Now that's the kind of class a player should show when deciding to transfer to another program. I hope he has a lot of success at BC this season.

I think this is a great choice, I think Addazio is a great defensive coach. Should help him towards his future dreams of NFL or Masters degree.

I disagree with most posters, actually all of them. Richard is not
all in. To go to BC is a slap in the face. He should honor what Clemson
has done for him or just go pro. If he was going to a school that we don't
play, I would feel the same but probably give him a nod.BC is not only in
our conference but in our division. Richard knows a lot more about our
defense than shows on film.I don't wish you any luck Richard, you along
with KB and Feaster have betrayed the Paw.Forvive me but I will never
pull for you.

Yeargin has been the consummate teammate and a great representative for the program. while I can understand not liking him going to a program in our division there is very little he can tell them that their coaches don't already know. They have an excellent defensive staff, they just never have the dudes that we do. As for his reasons for going there, BC is an excellent School that will also help him down the road and should he have a shot to go pro their scheme will give him one of the better chances to shine. As talented as he was and looked great at times, I honestly feel he would have been about third on the depth chart. Not nearly the playing time he needed to raise any potential draft stock. Not at least at the level he could have at Boston College. I'm all about competition but happy for this young man that he has landed in a great spot. Go Tigers!

Wow...I suspect the Coach Swinney probably helped him get to BC in the same way he helped Hunter Johnson get to Northwestern. Speaking of which, while you take the “scorched earth” trashing former players, where is your criticism for Johnson, Z Cooper, Pagano, Tyshon Dye, Brandon Maye, Travis Blanks, Lasamuel Davis, etc, etc.

I’m not a fan of how KB handled his business but Yeargin has done nothing to tarnish his time at Clemson. The guy not only graduated but also got a masters.

My comments about Yeargin wasn't meant to imply that I was trashing
him. I had also forgotten about those players that you mentioned. My
feelings are the same about them but they did go to schools that we
don't play. They are all upstanding young men but I choose not to
cheer for them.

I am thankful that someone like you is not a typical Tiger fan.Yeargin cannot "just go pro" after sitting out all this time, and had no chance to play at Clemson. BC gives him that chance and a second Masters. You are very simple minded-----GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!

I disagree with you, I have been a Tiger fan for more years than
you have probably been alive. I have a right to my opinion and
you have a right to yours.I didn't serve my country for Libs
like you to tell me to go away. Don't ever pretend that there are
not more loyal free thinkers like me and less gutless wonders like
you.

I made this account purely to tell you how sad and pathetic your view is on Yeargin transferring to BC. Seriously? You won't support someone who wants to pursue their academic and athletic dream of playing college football after having broken his neck and fought back to where he is now, solely because he will be at a school Clemson plays? Get out of here with that garbage. You should be ashamed to call yourself a Clemson fan with that attitude. Tigernet really does attract the worst people lol

Two thoughts, is he really well enough to play again? Would hate to see something happen. Second thought . you can't find a school other than one in out own conference, much less our division?? Weird.

I don't see why going to another school in our conference

matters one iota!!

It doesn't matter. Period.

Since Addazio got there, BC routinely puts defensive players in the NFL. If his Neck is completely healed, he will be an upgrade to their DL after losing a stud DE. I not only feel that this was a great choice for the young man, but that he likely had Dabo's blessing, and IMO his assistance in finding a good spot. This young man is Tiger through and through, he has more CU degrees than many posting on this board, so I wish him well. Just stay away from #16.

Awesome school. Can’t ask for too much more than to get educated at BC while playing football.
