CBS bowl projection sends Clemson out West

Hey, media, your #### isn't a hat...get your head out of there!

Folks remember the last game...and they know who has talent returning. Now, you can bend, twist...even try to break and glue back together again a perception, but it's a false one. Wholly false.

This time a year from now, the rhetoric will be that Bama has FINALLY recovered from the fatigue of their run under Saban and will...again...enter the season as the pre-season #1...and looking to TIE things up with the Tigers. Won't happen this year...won't happen next.

I'm out! ;)

and any analyst who watched us last season

knows that even though we lost a ton of our starters..the ones we are throwing in this year didnt exactly just warm the benches last season..they got a good bit of playing time and experience.

I would be willing to bet him, the ACC has more than 8 bowl

Would love to see someone like Michigan, Texas or Florida make the playoffs instead of Bama, Georgia, or especially Oklahoma.

UF would be my pick. I live in Jacksonville, and Gator fans are pretty obnoxious. It's almost enough to make a guy root for FSU (but not quite). Wearing a 2019 natty t-shirt around town after a Clemson stomping of the Gators would be pretty sweet.

He really thinks they would do a repeat matchup of what will likely be the SECCG in the same stadium a few weeks earlier. I highly doubt it.

They shouldn't NOT do it just because of that.

This will never happen but if you have Bama, Clemson, OU, and UGA all 12-0 going into conference title games and Bama beats Georgia, Georgia should absolutely still be under consideration for that 4th seed even if it means an immediate rematch with Bama. Now if there's a 12-1 Ohio State out there that wins the Big Ten, then I'm 100% in favor of giving them that 4th spot and a shot at Bama instead of giving UGA the rematch, but i don't think a deserving team should be left out of the playoff just to avoid a rematch.

Someone tell Dabo to keep scoring and

scoring especially against the 2 SEC teams until these media guys are convinced that we are #1 from the 1st game until Playoff time. We want the Peach Bowl and send #2 (hopefully not Bama) to the desert.

Seems more legitimate than Finebaum. But at the end off the day the bum is searching for clicks.

Jerry Palm is full of crap......just more SEC BS......same old stuff which is getting very old and no one with a brain is buying it ANY MORE......he needs to sit down with Dabo to get some real and current facts about the ACC vs the SEC.......and no Bama is not the King of the Hill anymore.....cause the last time I checked the last 2 out of 3 seasons belonged to Clemson.....Go Tigers!!!!!

"However, I believe Alabama's strength of schedule will push the Tide to the top of the rankings when the season comes to an end.

LOL! So, which is it, the schedule grinds them down to the point they get their ### kicked or it's going to put them over the top?!?!?!?! This stuff is comedic gold!!!!!

His take is either wishful thinking or blatant pandering. Sounds to me like a campaign is underway to influence the playoff committee into stacking the rankings in favor of the undeserving.

So, business as usual. Who would have seen that coming?

Ridiculous picks AGAIN. Now does anyone remember when bama first beat us, barely? We had Mike Williams out due to an injury, Mckenzie Alexander went out with a hamstring and they got a lucky onside kick. We said if one of those didn't happen, we would have won the game, which had a strong possibility of being true. They laughed and said we were making excuses and they won because they were the better team. Now fast forward to this year, they got BLOWN out and gave up and they have had NOTHING but excuses as to why they didn't win and that we were NOT the better team.

I will be rooting for certain teams to beat bama and give them at least two losses and knock them out of the SEC championship. Hoping for more, but trying to keep it a little realistic. Not that I relish this, but even the chickens beating them would help. That is a tough call.

Bama has officially joined the line of hatred -

Can't pull for UGA unless they play USuC - and now can't pull for USuC unless they play Bama - can't pull for Bama......ever.

If Clemson and Bama both finish the season 13-0 Bama

is 100% getting the #1 seed over us. Jerry Palm is correct about that. The question is really whether or not you think Bama can go 13-0 against this year. If they do, they are the #1 seed.
