Don Munson let it slip on air last night that it was a ruptured spleen. Say a prayer for Brown.

Oh man. I wondered because usually "internal injury" means an organ, not a joint / bone injury. He's a young, healthy man, I'm sure he will be fully recovered before too long.

Idk if he would have access to that info that quick. It could be that but I highly doubt he would know, could have heard some bc coaches or somethin sayin it could be that but don’t think he would know that Info for a fact. No matter the injury I hope it’s not too serious and he has a quick recovery. I hate to see a guy for any team get seriously injuried. It was def a legal hit and not dirty, just sucks he could be seriously injuried from it. Really hope this guy is alright. Prayers for speedy recovery.
Go Tigers!!

I thought after post game interviews it might be a spleen or collapsed lung. If you remember Cole Downer had similar injury. His was caused from landing on a football after a hard hit and tackled. Praying for this young man.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

My prayers for his rapid, full recovery.***

Was he a tight end ? I think you're right. I believe he went to hospital before game was over . Serious business .

A completely legal hit from start to finish.
On another note, it would be flagged in the NFL.

Prayers for the kid! I love to see big hits but not

Nov 11, 2018, 10:37 AM

With these results. Think is the first time I have heard of someone with an “internal injury”. Godspeed

Technically basically all injuries are internal, except for maybe scratches which are partially external and internal.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yea... technically... but the kid is not being treated

Nov 11, 2018, 12:30 PM

by an orthopedic physician or a neurologist, it’s an “internal medical” situation.

No Deshaun received an injury similar, it didn’t rupture his spleen but it punctured and collapsed his lung. That is why he hadn’t been able to fly and has been taking the bus. Freak injuries happen

Spent two days in ICU and then two days on the regular floor at a hospital from internal bleeding.

Suffice to say that any internal injury is very serious. Prayers to the kid and family.

Prayers for the guy. Hope he recovers fast. But sorry BC

That's an inaccurate headline

Nov 11, 2018, 12:01 PM

Coach Add didn't say he has an internal injury. He said sharing information on the injury is an internal matter. Meaning he didn't know specifics and might not talk about it publicly even if he did. Regardless, he said it was less of a deal than the torn ACL he suffered last year.

247 sports now says abdominal (but not internal) injury. Addazio says "Anthony Brown is day to day but doing well. We will..figure out if he is able to take active reps."

Thankfully, this sounds more like the kind of injury KB suffered at GT than anything life-threatening. I'm sure the young man is still in a lot of pain and continues to need our prayers, but today's update sounds like he should be ok.
