Spring Practice Insider

The 2018 National Champions returned to the practice field Tuesday afternoon, the first spring practice of the 2019 season. There were the usual faces and names and several talented newcomers. We were allowed to watch the first 50 minutes or so of the session and have a ton of observations to bring your way. Full Story »

Guys 'n' Gals, saw Landen Zanders twice last fall

Really good DB, but Crest also used him at WR and he can strike terror to another DB since he knows the position. Smooth and fast. He'll get some PT this fall. He'll pick up the game speed pretty quick.

Haven’t seen him live but liked his tape a lot

IMO will likely get his 4 games and redshirt primarily because he needs to add weight. Think the athleticism, instincts, and ball skills are there and wouldn’t be surprised to see him lock down a starting job at one of the safety spots in 2020.

I never understood how he was a low 3 star by most services. His instincts and ball skills are phenomenal. Maybe he just didn't go to enough camps.
