Sumbish complained to County that my mulch washed across the road onto his yard....
During the #%##### tornado, of all times!

There was a professor at Clemson who called the cops on us because the music was too loud at maybe 7 o'clock pm. We never even met him. We didnt even know he was a professor and that he lived above us. He could have at least knocked and told us it was too loud. I told him if he did it again without telling us we were loud, that I would kick his axe. He then informed me that he was a professor. I told him I didnt give a shyatt. That said, we always kept the music down after that. That could have turned bad. Young and dumb.

when we built here, Mrs No's best friend, and her husband that I got along with great lived right behind us. It's how we found out about the lot and built here. Mrs No babysat their 2 kids while staying home with our youngest. Their kids still come visit us. But her friend got divorced and they both moved away. Actually, the people in that house now go to our church and have developed into great friends.

Instead of beotching to the county. He’s originally from PA or NJ, so that figgers, I guess.
Do have several other naybors that are of southern and reputable esteem....

issues before. Easy to throw the yankee card, but maybe he's just a jerk. I'd have a chat over a beer or sweet tea before you retaliate. Maybe he's just dense. Wouldn't be the first college professor who was. If he's a jerk, don't show your cards till you gig him.

Why don't people talk to neighbors anymore?

I got one neighbor to shut their dog up. Would be outside all day barking while infant tried to sleep.
Also cleared up that he thought my dog was pooping in his front yard, so was using a pitching wedge to fling them onto my yard.
One neighbor's weeds were growing sky high. So I helped mow them.
Went halfsies with a neighbor replacing a fence they originally put too far into our yard.
Another neighbor's wife was lonely when husband went to work, so I consoled her each lunch break.
