Duh...I was trying to make the connection. My mother went to TCU and my grandfather worked for the Texas and Pacific Railroad in Ft Worth. I shuuda knowed!!

It's a Texas thing. Our local high school does the same thing. Mascot is "Indians", but when they score they blow this big loud train horn. You're right, it doesn't make sense
