T Law 16

One of the many things that I notice and completely stands out when I watch Trevor play is his calm poise and demeanor. There are many things that stand out about Trevor's command as signal caller, however “ice water in his veins” has never looked so evident to me than when I see this young man behind center.

Welcome to the Big Time Trevor Lawrence

When I look across the college landscape I don’t see another QB that is the full package like Trevor is. From his height, to reading defenses, throwing across his body, the velocity on the ball, the precision, throwing receivers open, and threading the needle like no other, Trevor is the real deal.

Trevor rolls out left and fires a dart to Renfrow

I don't believe I've seen a QB who makes it look this easy. Not to say that he doesn't have to work at his craft, but some of the throws he makes are just unreal. Through the first set of downs in the National Championship Game it almost looked like Trevor was going to have his freshman moment. Only for a moment though. He was just getting the cannon loosened up and getting a feel
for what the Alabama defense (that has been and seems always so heralded) would throw at him. Folks, he made them look woefully unprepared and then finally outmatched.

Clemson outmatched Bama as a team and Trevor outmatched the entire Bama defense. Now, with all the credit due to our O-Line for giving him a clean pocket all night, still Trevor made it all look easy. As he carved up Bama’s secondary with the great protection of the O-Line, he did it all with calm demeanor. Ice water in his veins, this young man is born to be star at QB.

T-Law showed early against Bama that he was ready for the challenge

I am thankful, very thankful that we had the historic season that we did. This team is amazing, Coach Swinney and all the staff are incredible. The seniors of this group will be missed and 15-0 is a very difficult task for any college team to do. It’s been a special championship season no doubt and the 3rd National Championship for Clemson football. My belief is though that it won’t be the last one with Trevor at QB. It’s been an amazing season for Tiger nation and I am not taking any of it for granted. As Dabo reminds us though, the best is yet to come.

Go Tigers!

TLDR version: T Law is the best QB in college FB, thankful for an amazing and historic season, the best is yet to come.
