At the end of the interview he said Go Tigers, guess he finally realized how much money Clemson can make him

It almost sounded painful when he said it. "And ummm, Go Tigers.."
Packer got a good laugh out of it

Post should read--"'how much money Clemson has made the ACC and is also doing now'".
Swofford likely counting how much $$$$ we are getting him to potentially waste. He is not now nor has he ever been a friend of Clemson. Probably will give a bonus to his head of football officials that he seems to want to utilize against Clemson.

He is a shining example of what not to be like. He needs to go, and he should have gone long ago.

of a job the last 15-20 years with this conference. If the majority of tigernet had their way, clemson would have left the conference many times over, including going to the Big 12! so it's time to give him his due. The ACC is at the top of the heap these days and it's schools have continued to progress in athletics and Clemson, along with all the others, can compete nationally in almost any sport they focus on.

I'm not sure what Swofford has done, but I give him no credit for the rise of football. All he cares about is basketball because of his alma mater always being ###### at football. I give credit to the schools and their AD for making the hires to put coaches in place who knows what it takes to build a program

all, but going back to when conference upheavals began (which the ACC pre-emptively started) he has done a great job of keeping the pieces together necessary to have a healthy, leading conference. He's a fun target on message boards, but the schools have trusted and relied on him to get things done. And he has.

This is correct. Back in those days, there were a lot of folks talking about the ACC falling apart and the rest of the conferences picking the scraps among the ruins. Instead, we have a full, cohesive, competitive conference - strong in football and basketball.
Having said that, I would like to see (1) the dirt cleaned up (UNC, Wakeyleaks) and (2) more competitive TV money packages - and that would include the reduction of these rediculous Thursday and Friday games.
