Sumpin been buggin me about A. Scott

The last 4-5 weeks there is something that's been bugging me more and more about how we are using A. Scott. I love the kids fire and he plays bigger than just about any receiver not named Leggett. But size isnt his thing, its speed and shiftiness.
I've been wanting to see us send him deep, or at least mid-range more than we are. How about a fly or skinny post and let the kid RUN. We do it once yesterday but that's the only time recently.
I know I know, 10-0 problems, but is anyone else with me?

He did go deep in the game, and dropped the pass in the end zone.

We send him deep a good bit. I don't think that's his bread and better. He is more of a yac guy.

use his speed/skill to get yardage. I like Cain deep better - wish Williams could get back.

I noticed they kept throwing to him on screens but gained very little.They kept coming back to that play. I guess they thought he would bust one but didn't happen.

yes you hope to bust some here or there but 5 or 6 yards on a toss sweep ain't to shabby

Not sure of why we don't see it as much. Maybe teams shift defenses to stop it when Scott comes in motion and the read is to go away from it.

Could be me but I think he is missing Williams the most. Williams stretching the field gave Scott a lot of space in other areas of the field. I would like to see him get some slants more bc he is money in the middle of the field

I love Scott, runs hard, hard to bring down, but the short, mid range passes suit him better, Cain is the best deep threat we have followed closely by Peake, missing Mike W badly in that area but Cain is Coming on, Go Tigers!

against Cuse. I can only recall one - the one Leggett dropped near the goal line. Don't understand why we didn't attack the middle more. Any X and O guys have an answer?
Screens and over the middle is where Scott excels. Oh, and of course the jet sweep.

give him game off vs. Wake Forest - McCloud should be back to take his place. I think Scott is a Gamer and wants to play not 100%!
