I hope we win out and go to New Orleans.
Right now, it looks like the team we'll play is the Saban Jesus Team.
Dabo has his work cut out for him.
But, LSU and A&M proved Bama can be beaten with a fast paced air attack. With our speed and dynamics, I doubt the old, black and white "see ball, hit ball" strategy Saban uses will be able to keep up.
I'm only worried about our defense, but seeing as how ESPN was drooling over how amazing AJ McCarron's 47% completion percentage was going into the A&M game (why was he #3 in the Heisman race?!) I think we could give their passing trouble.

I think the Tigers could pull off a close win.
Being a Bama native, there is nothing I would love more than to go home during my breaks and be able to fly my Clemson flags 24/7 like the bama fans do and see all of the Crimson Algae fans simmer with rage from a loss to an ACC team.

Why not? We play best when nobody expects us to win. Since we'll be 50 point underdogs, what have we got to lose?

We could score on them. I was at the Bama game Saturday and A&M runs their offense as fast or faster than we do. Bama was scrmabling to sub limemen and LBs in. Seemed to play better D when they just stuck w/the guys that were out there. One of the guys I went to the game with, father of a Bama player and knows I'm a Clemson fan, told me he thought Clemson could score points on Bama.

That would be an awesome game! Also, Brad Edwards has UGA beating Bama in the SEC Championship game. It's unlikely, but I'd love to see the old rivalry renewed between Clemson-Georgia. They are our first game next year, but it would be fun to watch. Clemson-Bama would be better if we beat them, and it would be pretty cool to see Dabo get a win over his Alma Mater.
