My biggest regret so far about cutting cable

Nov 26, 2017, 12:49 PM

Is that I wasn't able to record last night's epic beat-down so I could watch it again today.

I'm sure it will be posted here shortly...

Do you have/use ESPN3? If so you can watch the replay there also.

What do they charge for the ESPN?

Nov 26, 2017, 1:00 PM

I am moving into a new place in March and I am thinking of cutting cable. Also, how much is your complete bill per month for everything?

Look at YouTube TV. It's only $35 per month and includes all the espn channels.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I will. So 35 and whatever the internet service costs.

I, uh, borrow a relative's account to get the ESPN stream. :) I have Spectrum's internet-only package for $70/month and it doesn't include ESPN. I've heard the best way to get it is to pay for Hulu during football season, which is $20 to $25/month (no contracts) depending on what you select.

Spectrum is also offering a streaming package now at $20/month that includes ESPN and a few others, but I wouldn't even have their internet package if I had another decent choice available. So I'm not going to get back into their pockets with a streaming service.

Streaming is a glorified replay...

Nov 26, 2017, 1:13 PM [ in reply to ESPN stream*** ]

Streaming runs about 80 seconds behind the live broadcast. Compare it to the radio broadcast and this will be verified.
