Radakovich is a big dope for bringing that on in lieu of other better, FAR less expensive options where we could be much more competitive and successful.

I for one think it's an excellent idea. Not to mention we could be competitive right out of the gate. With all the softball players in the southeast, there is no reason why Clemson can't compete.

Softball is going to do great things at Clemson and our fan base will be be filling the stadium. My youngest daughter's response when I told her the about our adding softball was, "Awesome! Now I can go to Clemson and not somewhere else"! ??

1. It's big in the state of SC. Tons of high level talent to recruit within a two hour drive of Clemson.
2. This moves provides a large volume of good content for the linear ACC Network. Diving does not. Even men's wrestling would not because they do not have that many matches.
3. Softball is way more popular than diving. The only time people pay attention to diving is once every 4 years at the Olympics.
4. If we are going to construct a softball stadium, now is the time to do it with low interest rates and TV money locked in for several more years.
