I am hoping we get DJ's younger brother and the family moves to Tiger Town. At least for their time as Tigers. Or maybe just hang out in Clemson each fall.

I heard that anyone who moved away from California had to continue paying state taxes for several years after leaving. I would stay there if I were them.

NJ has an exit tax. They tax the sale of your home a certain percentage but if you buy another house in the state you get that back as a credit. Crazy Yankees huh?

I paid the exit tax twice, although you can get it reduced, or around it altogether, but it’s a hassle. NJ taxes are very high, but at least the schools are great and the public services are generally good. CA’s about the same. Massachusetts is borderline robbery.

Big Dave should get a nice little place on the lake as a home base. DJ can pay that off for him in 3 years.
