Freeze on C.Kelly: "We're gonna handcuff ourselves together"
Jan 16, 2015, 11:39 AM
|
|
Great choice of words. Then he turns on the SEC logic to justify why he is welcoming Kelly into the program with open arms: “He’s obviously made mistakes. He hasn’t made them with us yet. We all think we can be a difference. If I don’t, then I tried and I’ll take some criticism. But you know, I try not to listen to criticism or praise. I’m just really about the redemptive quality of man and giving a kid a chance.”
Prisons are full of people who haven't made any mistakes with them yet. He should send some of his recruiters there since he is so big on the "redemptive quality of man."

I guess his last "mistake" doesn't count as "with us yet" because he technically hadn't started classes? Brilliant!

for all of those signees or commitments who got locked-up before they were actually enrolled at $CU. Coach Freeze just did a better job of articulating it.

Translation from SEC verbiage:
We don't give a carp whatever an athlete does as long as he is good enough to help our program possibly win some games. We will cover up anything and everything possible and make our athletes look like saints.

Freeze is gonna kill that program. You can't keep doing it the wrong way an expect a good program. Think he is a guy and blows things up and may bring something to a died program but not a long haul guy.

I guess if I were perfect I would then have the right to demand everyone else be. Who knows? The kid might have changed. I doubt he is any worse than crablegs Winston.

We have a starting QB that did more on his first drive of his career than Kelly did in his 2 years here. Oh and he also had a 4.0 last semester.

Such an infatuation with Chad on here lol. He's gone, let him go. I think everyone knows that every player that does anything wrong is immediately kicked off of the team when it comes to Clemson. Dabo is the best when it comes to team discipline because he never has to do it. Chad is getting an opportunity to fix what he has messed up, and is still getting a chance to live his dream of playing college and maybe pro football. And after you're done complaining about it and reading stories about him and posting stories about him on message boards (I'm sure he loves coming on here and still seeing stuff about himself lol), you're gonna wake up tomorrow and he'll still be QB at Ole Miss

That's a remarkably misinformed statement that you can't actually believe. Ask Martavis Bryant and Duane Allen about how Dabo & Co. work when it comes to discipline, and what the benefits are to getting it together.

I think it's called sarcasm. Bc everyone always talks about how Dabo is a no nonsense guy and it's a one and done type of deal when you get in trouble. But thank you for kinda proving my point moron lol
