State's D-line is good.

I think they will play well all year.

They're the best defense we play...

...until FSU.

you can count on two things from NCSU every year

D line and solid DB's who'll hit you. Year in and year out they have solid, physical, athletic DL. It's no different this year. That's a solid football team that's capable of knocking anyone off. Tajh has to make better decisions with more poise early in the game and our OL needed that game to wake them up and make them realize that they will be facing some DL-men throughout the year that will play in the NFL. We went up there and played subpar on offense, yet we got a win. That's something in the past that all too often hasn't ended up that way. 3-0, next game on the schedule, get to work. Our NC year Jeff Bryant saved the game against UNC with one of the smartest plays in Clemson history with the lateral recovery in a 10-8 bloodbath against the Holes. We sputtered 17-7 against NCSU that year....but we won the NC. Every game ain't going to be 45-10 no matter WHO you are. I'll take the "W" any day of the week no matter what it looks like, then you watch film and get your ##### back on the practice field. As for Battle, i'd run his ### in practice but let him know to take that fire and use it when the ball is snapped on the next play...take that fire and drive someone into the ground like they did something to your mama....NOT after the whistle blows....but it sure is #### nice to see a Tiger play with some fire.

Don't be surprised when you find out they are actually not that good. Our guys completely missed blocks not because of a good move like Beasley was doing or a Clowney does but because the OLine just sucked. Proof in the fact that the backup comes in and immediately does better. Their defense was good because Bryant dropped passes, Boyd missed wide open Wrs like 3 different times and missed other wide open chances. Yeah, great D. We played as bad as possible and scored 26pts in their house. Good defense.

Their D line is solid

Had good speed, played motivated, and showed lots of looks. I'm not sure they'll play that hard against the rest of their schedule, but they are a very serviceable unit.
